1st Iran Crude Extraction from South Pars Oil Layer before March: Min.

TEHRAN, Oct 17 (Shana) – Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh said on Monday that for the first ever, Iran will start extracting crude oil from the oil layer of the massive South Pars gas field, hoping that development of the phase two and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) of the field will fall within the framework of the revised model of oil contracts.

South Pars Gas Output to Rise by 5bn cf

TEHRAN, Oct 08 (Shana) – Managing Director of the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) Mohammad Meshkinfam says South Pars gas extraction capacity will rise by five billion cubic feet once construction of 10 gas platforms of South Pars in Sadra Industrial Yard is over.
